On April 13, 2018, a ParisTech delegation, led by Cecile Vigouroux, Vice Director of international relations at ENSTA ParisTech, Alma Catala, Vice Director of international relations at MINES ParisTech and Sylvain Ferrari, Paris Tech Director of China relations visited Peking University, and met with the faculty representatives from the School of Physics. The meeting was hosted by Prof. Yongyun Hu, Vice Dean. Prof. Shouhua Zhu, Vice Dean, Prof. Yong Ban from the Department of Technical Physics and Prof. Guowei Lv from the Institute of Modern Optics participated in the discussion.

Prof. Hu delivered a brief introduction to the School of Physics, with an emphasis on the exchange activities that the school’s undergraduates and graduates have been attending in recent years. Mr. Ferrari then briefly introduced the ParisTech Group and its partners. Both sides exchanged thoughts regarding the possible cooperative opportunities in faculty exchange, student visiting and double degrees. Both sides expressed great interests in promoting cooperation, and would make collaborative efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
